display settings not showing in nvidia control panel

I have to explain this one. It appears that NVIDIA has some strange new settings for the display in the NV Control Panel. That is, it doesn’t seem to show the display setting in the control panel. For example, if I set display to VGA, then I can’t view the display settings in the control panel.

Well, you might be able to fix that by uninstalling the drivers, but that’s usually a bad idea and you’ll need to reinstall them at your own risk.

I think that’s exactly what happened to me. I had to uninstall the drivers from NV Control Panel, reboot, and then put them back in to get my display settings back to normal.

I recently had a similar problem where my display settings in Nvidia Control Panel werent showing up. I found a solution by simply unchecking the checkbox next to the display settings option.

Sounds like the fix for your display settings problem is also to uncheck the options next to the checkbox.

That’s what I did, just in case. Just to be safe.

Sounds like a good idea. Well, I hope you found it helpful.

I think we all have experience of this. That is, we all know it can happen in some situations but just don’t know what to do to fix it. If you’re having issues with display settings not showing in nvidia control panel, you may have a system issue that is beyond our control. I suggest a reboot and then reinstalling nvidia drivers.

That’s what we do, if for no other reason than since we don’t know what the problem is, we’re not going to do anything to fix it.

Well, at least you are trying.
